Hyderabadi Paneer











Ingredients:
  • Paneer - 250 gms (cut into cubes)
  • Onion - 2 (chopped)
  • Garlic flakes - 4-5 
  • Ginger - small piece
  • Tomato - 1 big (chopped)
  • Palak leaves - little
  • Coriander leaves - little
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 2 cubes
  • Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

For seasoning:
  • Green cardamom - 2
  • Cinamon - 2 pieces
  • Cloves - 2

Method:
  • Take a kadai & add oil
  • When it becomes hot, add onion to that & stir well
  • Add garlic, ginger,  chilli & mix well
  • When it changes its colour, add tomato, palak & stir till the palak becomes soft
  • Then add coriander leaves
  • Make it cool & grind in a mixer without adding water & keep aside
  • Take another kadai & add oil in it
  • When it becomes hot, add the seasoning
  • Stir & add the ground masala along with butter (optional) & dry masalas
  • Fry till the oil leaves sideways
  • Then add required level of water & mix well
  • Add fresh cream & cut paneer cubes
  • Check salt & close the kadai with a lid
  • Allow to boil for 5 mins in a medium flame
  • After adding paneer, boil for another 5 mins & remove from the gas
  • Serve either with roti, nan or paratha.
