Ingredients:
- Garlic flakes - 1 cup
- Green chilli - 5-6 (slit)
- Ginger - 1/2 cup (pieces)
- Curd - 2 cups
- Curry leaves - little
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 4-5 tsp
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - As required
- Ghee - 3 tsp
- Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
- Cardamom - 3-4
- Cinnamon - 4 (small pieces)
- Cloves - 4
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Fry all the ingredients till it changes into golden brown colour. Fry in low flame & make a powder.
Method:
- Take a kadai & add ghee to that.
- When it melts, add ghee to that.
- Later on, add chilli & ginger (as stated in the ingredients above).
- When it changes into light brown colour, remove from the gas.
- Allow it to become cool.
- Then grind into a coarse paste.
- Add garlic paste, masala powder, red chilli powder & salt, into the curd & mix well.
- Then take the same kadai, add ghee or oil.
- When it becomes hot, add cumin seeds, curry leaves & mix well.
- Then add the curd mixture & stir well.
- Keep the flame low in between & stir.
- When the oil leaves sideways, remove & store it in the bottle.
